This week brought a slightly-more awake Charlie, and a sick Carter.
Charlie's becoming more awake day by day. He's an awesome little tummy-time guy, moving his head well and getting stronger. I swear, he's just going to take off and crawl by Christmas ;) His sleeping pattern got all confused, but it seems like he's back on today (happy birthday to me!). And, of course, he continues to be adorable and break hearts!
Early in the week, Carter broke out in a rash, somewhat resembling the seasonal one I get around my mouth (you're welcome, kiddo!). Then Thursday evening she complained of a "sore head," and we left Triad early. She slept through Survivor (what?!!), from about 8pm until Friday morning around 9:15am. The sleep did her well, and she felt better in the afternoon. We went to the clinic to get her rash checked out; turns out it's just a virus that'll run it's course soon (sooner with medicine). Otherwise, she's been great! She continues to be a great help, soothing Charlie, making us giggle, and being an all-around good girl. We took a bike ride, enjoying the great weather, and she's becoming more coordinated and comfortable on her bike. She's also learned to "pump" herself on the swings independently, a trait I never thought she'd master or I'd be able to teach her!
