The final curtain call

Today's afternoon performance of Encore-Sonian: Night at the Dancing Museum wrapped up our first season of dance.  Carter did a great job today, too.  During her dance routine, she snagged a "sparkley triangle" off the floor and held fast to it during her routine, but otherwise she did great!

In just a few month of dance, she's really come a long way.  She's understanding that she has to listen and follow along with Miss Evie, and she's respecting herself, her teacher and her classmates.  I couldn't have taught her these lessons on my own, that's for sure.  We're going to talk with Miss Evie and see what options year two of dance brings (Tumbling?!  Hip Hop?!), but for now, we're relaxing and taking the summer off!

After the show, de-sparkled and un-pinked, back to Little Miss Sassy Pants!
