Ankeny has a great summer education program for kiddo's, and our pick this year was "Let's Make Music!" Carter likes to make up silly songs (which she got from Andy, who got it from Duane!), so I figured this would be right up her alley. And I couldn't have been any more right on!
From the moment we stepped into class two weeks ago, she has loved every second it it! Her teachers, Miss Olivia and Miss Katie, are high schoolers who love music and children, and she adores them. She follows directions and she's a great friend to other classmates. Honestly, I couldn't image it going any better than it has so far!
During drawing time, Miss Katie plays a song and the kids draw what they hear. tHe song was "Celebrate!" so Carter drew her and her house, down the street from Elisa and her house!
