The "duckies," technically known as GEESE, are back in the area. In the mornings, they hang out in the fields behind our house, and in the early morning they fly out to the pond. They end up back on the pond in the evening; they must hang out at the mall during the day?
Carter and I grabbed some "ducky bread" and walked down to the pond to check them out. There were probably 50 geese on the pond, 10 of which were intrigued by the new people and what we were tossing to them. Carter talked them, fed them a little bread, ate a lot of their bread, and watched with awe.

Carter and I feed the geese - AND Carter!

Yummy! Ducky bread! At least she's getting a good grain in!

What a view!

Carter and the "duckies." Don't bother trying to clarify with her. To her, their duckies, and she's 2 (nearly 3!) so don't bother arguing! She's (like her Dad!) is ALWAYS right!
