I'm not sure what they've got, but Andy and Carter are sickies today. I attempted to rouse her out of bed this morning; she was very whiny and upset. I tried to calm her down, but failed (thankfully!). Andy came to try, knelt down to her and hugged her ... and she threw up all down his shoulder and back. So she and I stayed home, snuggled, and watched hours of Iowa Public Television (did you know Dave Matthews and Alicia Keys both have been on Sesame Street? Neat huh?!)
Andy came home early with the same ailments. Andy spent most of the evening clutching his gut-rot ridden tummy and watching TV; Carter laid on the floor with her blanky and moved only as I moved from space to space. Around 6:15, I moved Carter from the floor to snuggle with sickie-Daddy. About ten minutes later, I found this:

Two tired and sore-tummy sickies, asleep on the couch

So my exciting Friday night plans have switched from cheering on Ankeny at their first home game to running to Target to start season 1 of Gossip Girl while I take care of Sickie Elder and Sickie Junior. I live life on the edge ...

Yeah, we didn't go cheer either. We had pizza and bought a laser printer tonight. Damn those sickies cost us lots of money tonight.
(sad face) I don't like it when everyone is sick. Hope they are feeling better, and better yet....you don't get it!
