Earlier Courtney had helped me dig potatoes out of the garden and then it was time to get the green beans ready for lunch.
"More" green beans to snap please! I broke off the ends and she actually snapped 85% of the beans - she's a real pro!
Of course they are better when you transfer them from the bowl to the table and back to the bowl 2 or 3 times!.
Then it was off to the sink to wash the beans - 10 washings was just about right! They were the cleanest green beans ever!
There's nothing like green beans you've snapped and cleaned yourself!
Courtney is a true Chalupa - ice-cream for dessert tops off the meal and when your own is gone then you beg more off of Grandpa!
Courtney loved watching the crop duster fly over - especially since the plane was her favorite color to say,
"yelyo"!
