We've worked really hard at naming things consistently with labels Carter can recognize: all cats are "cats," all dogs are "dogs," all things shiny, colorful and/or pretty are "pretties," etc. But what do you call this thing? We got with shape-thing, and Carter loves it!
Circle gets the circle, Bob! What a smart girl - she can sort and put shapes in all by herself!
That's my fav toy to play with her when we babysit. Yeah - blue-red-shape-thingy!!
