It's such a crappy thing to have to do (and we did it on a small scale), but the rewards are so delicious! Duane picked us homegrown peaches and cream sweet corn, and Andy and I shucked it to freeze, so we can enjoy in January!
... of course ... Carter helped ...
Earlier, Carter and I played on the deck. Apparently, Carter is now "Ms. Potato Head!"
For lunch, we had grilled cheese. This is the messiest we've been in months! Who would have thought grilled cheese would be this messy?!?

Duane & Linda came up to stay after the fair, and we met Corey & Amber for dinner at The Cazador (Duh! Where else would we go?!). We had "birthday" dinner (Corey, 8/18, Carter 8/19 and Duane, 9/4), and enjoyed watching Carter eat her dinner!
... so much for "small bites!"
