Carter is figuring out the ball pit. She knows she loves it and wants in it, but hasn't completely figured out how to get in by herself. She's trying to get up on her tippy-toes and go in headfirst (which will be bad if it ever happens!). She did finally notice the stairs and got in that way. She's so smart!
Things in the "tent" did not go as well. There were two sides to the tent that you could crawl through: a thin, small side, and a wide, spacious side. Of course Difficult Child chooses the narrow side, and gets stuck! So I, not being very "thin" or "small" or even "narrow," had to schmooze in and help her out.
We finished out evening in the canopy. Carter figured out she could lift the side to create an exit, but when she put her hands down to crawl, it would disappear! This was very perplexing to her. Finally, after spending a lengthy three or four minutes trying to figure it out, she gave up and left through the entrance!

REACH on those tiny TIPPY TOES!

Ahhh ... the pit ... perfect ...

See?! Spacious left side, narrow and uncomfortable right side. This is not a difficult choice!
"Where's out???"
