April 24, 2006: The smile and smirk say it all: she is beautiful. At 8 months, Carter is creeping and attempting to crawl (heaven help us!), smiling, giggling, laughing, and loving everyone in her life, she's eating foods like garden veggies and stawberry-nana mixes, and she's getting the hang of feeding herself "bowling pins" (cheerio-like finger foods) and trying to hold her own bottle. She's gone from itty-bitty, totally dependent newborn to independent little girl in what seems like days. They say "time flies," but I never put much thought into it. But look at Punky - she's so big now! It really does fly, and every second is a memory to be cherished.
